The Project Manager is responsible for projects in a given geographical area. He/she will report to the director of the Project Operations Division.
He/She will provide support to the commercial department during the negotiation of contracts, and has the responsibility to validate the specifications. He/She will be leading the project starting from studies and engineering, follow-up of manufacturing, packaging, shipment and commissioning of the product at site.

Project management
- Lead design and development studies of mechanical and electrical components.
- Validate the choice of technical solutions according to customer specifications.
- Manage computer simulations or numerical modelling studies with R&D if necessary.
- Pilot the technical tests of the prototypes, check their conformity to the expected performances and indicate the corrections to be made.
- Write specifications allowing an optimal design of technical parts and respecting the regulations in force.
Methods and production
- Ensure compliance with the specifications during manufacture, compliance of products.
- Monitor and develop production planning according to deadlines, procurement…
- Identify corrective actions and prepare a production report.
- Give maintenance and technical support.
- Provide technical advice and assistance to Teams. (quality, production, engineers).
- Manage non-conformities.
Skills
- Ability to establish plannings, priorities, to work independently and proceed with objectives.
- Aptitude to analyze information and propose solutions to problems met.
- Teamwork abilities to communicate efficiently with other departments.
- Excellent presentation, perfect verbal and writing skills needed for customer contacts.
- Proven experience of on-site engineering works.
- Participate in industrialization development tests.
- Ensure industrial safety and regulatory compliance.
- Knowledge of quality, hygiene, safety and environmental standards.
- Knowledge of common drafting/engineering concepts, practices, and procedures.
- Knowledge of SolidWorks
- Knowledge of SAP or similar ERP
- Microsoft Excel and Word
- Knowledge of a program Management software (MS Project, SAP Project Module…)
- 30% travel required for worldwide missions.
